    With a serious demeaner as he views the skirmish, Elf answers, “An evil version of AB named Ultimax sparked a war that was both physical and philosophical as Max wanted to convince Astro Bomber that his cause for rebellion was justified.  Max initially created XII to manufacture reinforcements, but the System Guards’ interference surprisingly served Ultimax’s purpose of resolving the psychological conflict by watching the large-scale chess game play on throughout the course of Ruyngardian history.  Along the way, Max struggled with his past decisions, but it was his genuine love for his version of Missy and Keb, Melody and Eulogy, that displayed a potentiality of leading Ultimax back to being the hero he once was.  This potential died, however, along with Melody and Eulogy when Max killed them himself in an attempt to rid himself of any emotional baggage.
