To solve this stupidity, there was a dance held for the single women of Israel. The six hundred males were allowed to chase down the girls and marry whomever they caught. The girls basically cooperated, so I don’t think it counts as kidnapping? *COUGH* Like I said, unsettling times in Israel’s history.
