God was showing Nebuchadnezzar all the world empires that would ever exist, with God’s own kingdom ultimately replacing them all.  The reality of how few empires this will end up being, to me, shows the small size of man’s might compared to God’s everlasting strength.  Even so, the king ignored the part about God’s kingdom and focused on his own part in the plan.  In the dream, he was represented by the statue’s head of gold, but our friend, Chad, built a statue in real life entirely made of gold.  He commanded everyone to bow to it or be thrown into a fiery furnace.  Well, three individuals didn’t bow because of devotion to the God of heaven and were thrown into the fire.  Who were these three?

-Daniel, David and Dan-

-Peter, James and John-

-Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego-

-Ezra, Nehemiah and Zerubbabel-
