Haha!  David wanted to build an actual temple for God.  He felt bad that he had a nice, cozy building to live in while the best they could give God at the moment was a tent.  God doesn’t need a building to live in, but He let David know that He highly appreciated the desire in David’s heart.  What else did God say about it?

-He would let David build the temple.-

-David’s son would build the temple.-

-David’s lineage would always have the kingdom, AND the Messiah would be a part of his line.-
