Now, when I say David was a bloody man, I’m not saying God was accusing David of murdering tons of people.  Other than Uriah the Hittite, the other lives the king took were in battle against enemy armies.  God wasn’t condemning him for fighting in battle, because this warfare was to keep the enemy nations at bay.  The Lord simply wanted to have a temple built that wasn’t associated with all this bloodshed.  That is why this structure was raised during the peaceful reign of the next king.

So then, the next guy, Solomon, led in the building of the temple, but I have a few simple questions.

Who organized the priests?
