If you don’t work, you shouldn’t eat. All that is saying is that you shouldn’t help a lazy person be lazy. It’s one thing if a person genuinely lacks the ability to take care of themselves. That’s totally understandable, but if an individual is just lazy and refuses to work, they have to deal with the consequences of that. Besides, a person who won’t work is kind of insulting a person who can’t work by not appreciating the gift of physical ability that God has given them.
