Solomon’s mother, Bathsheba, was forced by David to commit adultery, as he was the king, so she could only do so much to resist.  So, when her wise son was using her good advice about finding a righteous wife, he used a pseudonym so her scandalous reputation wouldn’t distract from the topic.  Keep in mind that David repented of that sin.

That’s what we’re asking them.  You see, the authorship gets even more plenteous when you realize there is another name involved, and this one might not be just another pseudonym Solomon used.  Who wrote Proverbs 30?
