You got it right!  Joshua’s name can also be pronounced, “Hoshea” or “Hosea.”  Does that name sound familiar?  It will if you look at the table of contents for books of the Bible, hehe!  Also, the Greek version of Joshua is a name I know you’ll recognize, Jesus.  In Acts 7, Stephen even refers to Joshua as such.  Didn’t realize there’s a book in the Old Testament literally called “Jesus”, did you?

Speaking of the books, what book division is Joshua a part of?

-The Psalms-

-The Pentateuch-

-The Prophets-

-The Historical Books-
