Gotcha…maybe. If you said David, then I hate to tell ya, but I tricked ya. While it might’ve been Nehemiah or Ezra, or someone around that time, we don’t really know when the synagogues started. But the point I was going to make, aside from the landmine I set, was that God still used David to do a lot of things with the temple, even if He didn’t allow him to actually build the building. The king even helped pay for it, allowing Solomon to construct it all with tons of cash saved up. Well, it wasn’t dollars or yen, but you know what I mean.
